STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Right-click on a photo in the thumbnail view.

OBSERVED RESULT
Digikam freezes, all processor cores are at 100% utilisation.
EXPECTED RESULT
A menu should actually expand

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The error occurs with Debian version 8.1.0 as well as with appimage
