I can't reproduce the issue on current git master with those steps. The system
logs out as expected. However I did see one issue: the external screen loses
its signal, so the system does indeed look like it's just gone to sleep. If I
open the laptop lid, I see the login screen there, confirming that it logged
out as requested.
Can you reproduce that, or are we seeing different results?
