            Bug ID: 481792
Summary: Bluetooth applet falsely indicates that device is
                    connected
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: Bluedevil
           Version: master
          Platform: Neon
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: system tray
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: bugsefor...@gmx.com
                CC: m...@ratijas.tk, now...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. pair a laptop and an android phone
2. reboot the laptop
3. make sure the android phone is unlocked and its bluetooth feature is
activated
4. try to connect the laptop to the previously paired android phone via
Bluetooth applet

OBSERVED RESULT
apparently the laptop was connected (the label of the button of the applet
changes to "Disconnect" from "Connect" and we do not see any error message),
but the android phone does not detect any connection between the devices

EXPECTED RESULT
the devices should connect, and we should receive some feedback in case of
connection failure

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.80
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2
Graphics Platform: Wayland
