I can confirm the issue following your steps. I tested it with the latest
master and either pointing a new project to a different drive/folder or
create
first a project and choose “parent folder” lead to the same error message.
I
don’t get any hint from DebugView what happen.
The only way to get it working is: Settings -> Configure Kdenlive ->
Project
Defaults -> Custom Project folder -> point to another drive and folder.
Then
start a new project and all is working and the data flow to this new
defined
drive and folder.
