Starting with plasma 5.8, the kickoff menu is opening when pressing the meta
button (only). This aligns with many other desktop environments and is
therefore nice as a default. However, it should be configurable to enable or
disable this feature as it is really annoying when working with many other
meta+<key> shortcuts. For example, i have the habit to press the meta key in
advance and then just cancel the meta+<key> shortcut, because i want to do
something else. In this kickoff pops up and blocks my input from wherever i was
working on. I need to press esc (meta only a second time is not working to
close kickoff, opposed to regularly assigned shortcuts) to get my original
focus back.
-> Therefore: Please make this feature optional or let one configure the
ModifierOnlyKeys such as regular shortcuts.
