Sorry, I haven't tried that.
After trying out Wayland again with some "workarounds" (Like setting
KWIN_FORCE_SW_CURSOR=1) applied, which still resulted in no mouse cursor on the
external screen and a full freeze (with Magic SysRq not working) on logout, I
reverted back to KDE 5 (KF 5.114).

Anyway, the first symptom was that on screen lock the dia show did not start
(or any other option I tried), but all three displays got shut off completely,
even with all power options to dim or turn off displays disabled.
The interesting part is that the internal display, which is not powered by the
RTX, got also shut off. So this does not seem to be an Nvidia-thing alone.

When trying to reactivate, the internal display flicked on, and half a second
later off again.
Then, 1-2 seconds later, it came back to life, then the second monitor flicked
on, and half a second later both went away again.
Then, 1-2 seconds later it was panel plus third monitor, then panel plus first
and second, then panel alone, and so on.

That was really weird...
