            Bug ID: 480288
Summary: Allow manual date entry in Adjust Time and Date
    Classification: Applications
           Product: digikam
           Version: 7.10.0
          Platform: Ubuntu
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: jeff.vane...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
***
Please allow manual entry of date in Adjust Time & Date window where the last
option is selected for Timestamp Used.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select an image
2. Select Item/Adjust Time & Date
3. Under Timestamp Used select the last option

OBSERVED RESULT
You are not allowed to enter the date manually. You must use the dropdown,
which shows a calendar of the current month (or possibly different month
depending on what it read). Here you can only move back one month at a time.
When dealing with scanned images of very old content (for example magazine
covers from the 1970s), that's a whole lot of clicking. You can hold down the
arrow and goes more quickly and saves your finger but it's still a long wait.

EXPECTED RESULT
Allow user to manually enter date, show error if format is incorrect.
