At some point in the last week I tried the thunderbird nightly build to see if it was fixed and it seemed to be. I noticed in the upstream bug they added a bunch of release tags for firefox but ignored thunderbird. I wanted to comment on it but they locked the thread after it was "fixed" so I'm not sure how to let them know.
