desktops" is checked ALT-TAB stops working

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. In System Settings → Task Switcher and check Virtual desktops → check "All
other desktops"
2. Press ALT-TAB to switch between tasks
3.
OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens
EXPECTED RESULT
the running apps should appear and it should be possible to switch between them
