Bug ID: 480041 Summary: When opening a new tab, put $CWD in $OLDCWD Classification: Applications Product: konsole Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: konsole-de...@kde.org Reporter: 7egg...@gmx.de Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** When I open a new window, I /usually/ don't want the new window to have the same directory - I prefer to have it not cd to the $CWD. But in some cases it would be handy to easily cd to that location. Putting $CWD in the new shell's OLDCWD will allow me to "cd -" to go there. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: OpenSuse Tumbleweed konsole-23.08.2-1.1.x86_64 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
