            Bug ID: 479491
Summary: Dolphin doesn't steal focus when opening an already
                    opened folder in Wayland
    Classification: Applications
           Product: dolphin
           Version: 23.08.4
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: boslma...@gmail.com
                CC: kfm-de...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
If I select "Open Folder" in an application or the command line I would expect
that Dolphin opens that folder, no matter if it's already opened or not. But if
I open a folder some window in the background has already opened, nothing
happens.
A different folder gets opened in a new window, but that's not what should
happen, the currently opened window should steal focus or reopen.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Dolphin Window in Folder A (e.g. via commandline with dolphin -select
A)
2. Open other Window that moves over the Dolphin Window in Folder A (e.g. an
IDE in Folder A)
3. Open Dolphin Window in Folder A again (e.g. in the IDE through the Button
"open Folder in Dolphin" or similar)

OBSERVED RESULT
The already opened Dolphin Window does not steal focus, it seems as if nothing
happens.

EXPECTED RESULT
The already opened Dolphin Window should steal focus.
