Very often I do not see any photo nor video I have stored in the data base
after application starts. The status bar says "no active process". All photos
are stored on a NAS accessable via network. The database is on a local path in
the users home directory. After waiting for a long period it seems to check for
new entries. And this takes hours because of the amount of photos stored.
