            Bug ID: 479297
Summary: Add center lines to composition guides
    Classification: Applications
           Product: digikam
           Version: 8.2.0
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Plugin-Editor-Crop
          Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: lucana...@hotmail.fr
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
In the "Aspect Ratio Crop" tool of the editor, there are several "compositional
guides" (golden mean, thirds, etc.)
However, there is no compositional guide with "center lines". These are lines
which divide the picture in 4 equal rectangles. It is very useful for cropping
symmetrical pictures (to check if the symmetry line is really in the middle of
the picture or not).
You can see them in Gimp or Darktable.

It would be nice to add "Center lines" in Digikam (or whatever other
compositional guides which include center lines : Darktable have "Grid",
"Metering" and "Perspective" which include center lines).

Thanks you
