STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start Plasma with an external monitor attached (set to redirect output to
external monitor)
2. Open "Brightness & Color" System Tray Widget
3. Slide "Brightness" slider back and forth
OBSERVED RESULT
No changes in brightness
EXPECTED RESULT
Brightness should change with slider
