STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install Pure OS KDE flavor on an older Lenovo Thinkpad
2. Go to the Discover center, try to do the 154 updates, see, "You have no
authorization to execute this operation."
3. Do:
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
see that everything is up to date.
4. Try to install Calibre, and see, "You have no authorization to execute this
operation.
