STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. turn on computer
2. boot to sddm login screen
3. enter password and press enter
OBSERVED RESULT
Wayland- screen goes black, mouse cursor appears, return to login screen
X11- sddm locks up indefinitely
EXPECTED RESULT
Desktop loads normally
