            Bug ID: 478856
Summary: qcow2 images display as virtual size instead of actual
disk size, resulting in low disk space
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kfile-plugins
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: fa...@kde.org
          Reporter: amanita+kdeb...@mailbox.org
  Target Milestone: ---

I have a lot of VMs that each have large virtual Disk sizes, because that is
graphically the biggest size the VM can have, overshooting here is not
possible.

But in KDE dolphin and Filelight, the qcow2 images are displayed as having
their full size, meaning I now have 200GB less, which is quite dramatic.

I guess "qemu-img" would need to be queried somehow, to read its "disk size"
value?

Not sure where to place this bug

qemu-8.1.3-1.fc39.x86_64
