Bug ID: 478813 Summary: Request for shortcut to clear text selection Classification: Applications Product: konsole Version: 21.12.3 Platform: Mint (Ubuntu based) OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: konsole-de...@kde.org Reporter: yushiyan...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Feature request: Add a keyboard shortcut (can be unbound by default) to clear all text selection. I would specifically like to bind this to the Esc key, to clear all marked/highlighted text in the current terminal. Requested behaviour: 1. Open Keyboard Shortcut configuration panel, and there should be an item for "clear text selection" 2. I should be able to this to a custom binding, e.g. "Esc" 3. Now I can click and drag in the main terminal to select some text (for copying etc.) 4. Then I can press Esc to clear said selection SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux Mint 21.2 Qt Version: 5.15.3 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
