Bug ID: 478154 Summary: Tray icon is unreadable in dark mode Classification: Applications Product: kweather Version: 24.01.80 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: carldunni...@sky.com CC: espi...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 163936 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=163936&action=edit screenshot This is specifically for the Weather Report system tray tool in Plasma 6 Beta ISSUE The tool has the option to display the current temperature in the tray however the colour of the font used makes it really hard to read. I'm pretty sure the issue is that the icon above the text is bright white and the text is grey (and really small). POTENTIAL SOLUTIONS 1. Get rid of the icon and just show the temp (obvs when the user selects to show the temp), that way the contrast difference is gone and the text will be bigger. 2. Give us the ability to change the text colour or maybe have a red/yellow/green/blue/white (hot/medium/average/cold/freezing) scale built in.
