Hmm, why 2015 good question, it's the version, if I see it correctly, that also
applies to 2022.
I think that our DLLs in the digiKam path will not be used if they are already
installed in the system. So we would probably have to change the library search
path. I know from other Windows software that they include the Microsoft DLL
installer and run it beforehand.

But this may not be the reason why the digiKam version is so slow for some
users. And there is another reason...
