I can't reproduce it in Plasma 6 and suspect that this has been fixed already
by some of the other changes that made desktop file refreshing more reliable.
Let's call it fixed, since unfortunately that change isn't easily backportable
to Plasma 5--and let's face it: even if it was, Debian Stable would never take
it as a patch or update to the new version anyway.
