Bug ID: 477685 Summary: Crash when loading project file Classification: Applications Product: kdenlive Version: 23.08.3 Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: Effects & Transitions Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: nata...@posteo.de Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 163584 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=163584&action=edit Backtrace, Disassembly and Registers SUMMARY Crash on load of project file that was previously saved without any obvious error. Problem can be solved by making a huge amount of imported project files unavailable and have them replaced with placeholders by kdenlive. The files themselves are fine and were properly loaded and saved in previous project file versions. STEPS TO REPRODUCE I couldn't find a surefire way to reproduce it, unfortunately. Can provide the project file itself if requested. 1. Import more than 1600 project files 2. Edit a little bit and save some times OBSERVED RESULT Crash during project load on a random file. The files it stops on however are often the same. EXPECTED RESULT Project gets loaded. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux w/ Wayland & Gnome KDE Plasma Version: N/A KDE Frameworks Version: 5.112.0 Qt Version: 5.15.11 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Happens both with the Flatpak as well as system package. AppImage doesn't load and therefore couldn't be tested. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
