Bug ID: 477471 Summary: Qt6 dolphin incorrectly displays smb share directories Classification: Applications Product: dolphin Version: 24.01.75 Platform: Neon OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: daron...@gmail.com CC: kfm-de...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 163431 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=163431&action=edit nonexistent directories SUMMARY Dolphin doesn't show any valid directories inside my smb shares. When I try to browse any of them, it just errors out "The file or folder does not exist". Those shares are on synology and keenetic, I haven't tried any windows ones. I'm not sure in which component this bug is. dolphin only logs: kf.kio.workers.smb: Failed to resolve any WS transport address. This suggests that DNS resolution may be broken. QList(QUrl("http://media:5357/0b71be5a-d63e-4bb8-99d5-08808c44cd33")) org.kde.dolphin: could not find entry for charset= "Other encoding ()" STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Try browsing smb share OBSERVED RESULT Dolphin shows nonexistent directories. EXPECTED RESULT Dolphin shows the existing directories and I can browse them.
