Bug ID: 476844 Summary: Audio cracking when cutting from one clip placed directly to another, even after render + workaround Classification: Applications Product: kdenlive Version: 24.01.75 Platform: Ubuntu OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: Video Display & Export Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: pk...@yahoo.pl Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 163052 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=163052&action=edit Image showing where the problem occurs, and where it doesn't (workaround) SUMMARY As in the title. file format used is mp3. Tested on Snap, Flatpak, and the current unstable version (appimage) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Place two long pieces of audio, I was using atmos for my scene, city sounds. 2. I cut the file into pieces, making some parts louder to match camera distance to the source of the sound 3. When switching from one audio to another there's a cracking sound. Changing formats etc doesn't help. Present even after render. Workaround: placing the files on separate channels.
