Please attach your journalctl output from when the problem happens.

Also, please verify with a pristine as possible new user and take notes of
exactly which changes you make and how. The more data points you can provide
the better.

e.g. how do you configure the primary screen? do you use the applet or the
popup or manually go to systemsettings? Do you make any other changes to
*anything*? Is your laptop lid closed or open when the problem happens? Are the
applications that are getting restored? etc. etc.
