Bug ID: 476191 Summary: Text Tool Cursor: Ctrl+Backspace behaves erradically around whitespace Classification: Applications Product: krita Version: git master (please specify the git hash!) Platform: Microsoft Windows OS: Microsoft Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Tool/Text Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: wildca...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Ctrl+Backspace (delete word to the left) seems to struggle, and will often do nothing if a space character (or end of string/line break?) is to the left or right of the cursor. Sometimes it will refuse to delete the space character, other times it will delete the space character but refuse to delete the next word to the left even on consecutive presses. Tangentially related, Ctrl+Delete does nothing at all at any time (would expect it to delete the word to the right of the cursor). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Using the Text tool, write "this is a test" 2. Hit Ctrl+Backspace twice while the cursor is at the end of the text OBSERVED RESULT "this is a " or sometimes "this is a test" EXPECTED RESULT "this is " SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 Commit hash: 38d6e48c68e7eb85925f45ac263614f55465c8b5 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
