STEPS TO REPRODUCE
NB: I am not 100% certain I was running digiKam 7.2.0 prior to updating to v
8.1.0 today.
Please advise what system log query I can make to determine the version
uninstalled--tia. 


1. Download latest version from digikam.org
from
https://download.kde.org/stable/digikam/8.1.0/digiKam-8.1.0-Win64.exe.mirrorlist
I selected: Department of Mathematics, Princeton University
2. Remove prior version
3. Click on Windows symbol; scroll down to find digiKam...

OBSERVED RESULT
digiKam 7.9.0

not surprising as this is the name of the folder:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\digiKam 7.9.0

EXPECTED RESULT
digiKam 8.1.0
