On the machine in front of me just now, installed and working with ALSA is kdenlive-21.04.2-x86_64.appimage When I try to run kdenlive-23.08.2-x86_64.AppImage, I get a series of errrs like GLIBC_2.29 not found, GLIBCXX_3.4.29 not found etc. I may test it later on a more recently set up machine. (None of my machines, however, will probably run the latest versions of Devuan/Debian Linux (and thus, of glibc), because distributions constantly dropped software I prefer to newer, much less beautiful and much less usable replacements.
