thank you again for assisting... I was out of town for the weekend and unable
to test. Removing the problematic package (forcefully) resolved the issue and
I've completed further upgrades.
As it is still running while I write this, we're way past resolving the
package. I hope this helped resolve any (if at all) package issues for Neon
upgrades to 5.8.
