            Bug ID: 475558
Summary: camera indicator should probably use a red instead of
                    green circle
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: master
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: ninj...@gmail.com
                CC: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk
  Target Milestone: 1.0

As discussed at

, I'd expected a recording action to be associated with a red circle, not a
green circle.

The gnome guys appear to have gone with a more subdued orange color, that still
conveys a warning connotation:

notes that Android 12 also uses a green dot, but I wonder if that is actually
telling something about Google's respect for user privacy.
