ATM you don't have anything you can do, unless you want to test the patch but i
doubt you have the technical skills.
Right now the MR will go through review and get feedback, eventually I will be
backporting to kf5, so you can confirm whether or not the bug is fixed.
But since you are using debian with 6 months old+ KDE Frameworks you might not
get a chance to update until next debian major version or switch to testing but
this will get next version in a while still.
