STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. "Create New Puzzle"
2. "Open File Dialog"

OBSERVED RESULT
File Manager opens at "HOME" folder, but nothing is in it. Or, program
crashes.
This started with the latest update.
Also, the old program remembered the file type to look for, e.g. "jpg".
Flatpak does not.
EXPECTED RESULT
I expected to see my folders and files, but there is nothing.
