Using that driver, the crashes were frequent. Last week I switched to the modesetting driver (details in this thread: https://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2023/09/msg00218.html) on the machine on which the X server resides. Since then, this crash has not occurred, despite considerable use of kdevelop.
