Of the buttons you select there, they will only appear on windows when they are
relevant and supported.
In the case of the Context Help and Shade icons, those features are not
supported on Wayland, so their buttons don't appear on any windows. But they
will appear on windows in the X11 session that do support it.
We can't hide the buttons from the config view on Wayland because then there
would be no way in the Wayland session to remove the buttons that you added in
the X11 session.
