Agreed :-)
Maybe as something that plugs into system monitor with options to show the
status (possibly framed as how much indexing still to go) and CPU load.

There *are* still cases where baloo goes away and thinks hard for a long while,
if you are content indexing and delete a shedload of files for example. Trouble
is that this work is hidden at the moment (you can see files being indexed but
not removed from the index)
