--- Comment #4 from Nate Graham <n...@kde.org> --- There should be a menu item somewhere in the app to let you customize shortcuts, and you can click it and use the window that it opens to assign the shortcuts to anything you want. If that doesn't work, or if the functionality I describe does not exist in the app, then the practical options for fixing the bug are limited to downgrading to a previous version of the software or KDE frameworks where the bug was not seen, or fixing the problem yourself in the source code.
