If so, I don't know what changed, or when, but in 5.1.3 it seems possible to change the opening date of a credit card account. It will certainly be difficult to be sure things remain correct if you add transactions prior to any previous reconciliation, but it is done before a lot is done with the account, it should be possible to assure all values are actually correct.
