The issue you're describing is a different one than the bug reported here, and it's tracked in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=473093. As you suspect, it was caused by the update on pipewire, but they've already fixed it for their next version (https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/pipewire/-/issues/3414) I'll hide your and my comments to not confuse readers of this bug report.
