I did the following three times and the crash was reproducible.
1. Open a new instance of Kate.
2. Press Ctrl+N.
3. Press Ctrl+Shift+Tab

However, after closing all Kate windows and attempting to reproduce the crash,
it is no longer reproducible at the current state of my machine. Unfortunately,
I don't remember what files I had open in Kate before the crash took place.
