Digikam has grouping. But the two features don't work together. If I batch process thousands of photos which creates thousands of image pairs, I have no way to group them except manually one by one. So I only ask that grouping support Digikam's own versioning scheme. Not "every grouping problem", not support versioning scheme of other tools.
