I can't see any real differences either, it's just different IDs. As far as
KWin is concerned, the output is showing stuff... So this is likely a kernel
issue.
We can check at least one thing to maybe narrow it down though. Can you put
KWIN_DRM_PREFER_COLOR_DEPTH=24
into /etc/environment, reboot and see if that makes a difference?
