Bug ID: 472071 Summary: Report: Show expenses relative to net income (with percents) Classification: Applications Product: skrooge Version: 2.29.0 Platform: Other OS: Other Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: guillaume.deb...@gmail.com Reporter: fff...@riseup.net CC: steph...@mankowski.fr Target Milestone: --- Hi, I’m not sure how can I configure a report to show my expenses (without taxes) relative to my net income. I pay all my taxes on my own and I'd like to know how to differentiate them from my normal expenses. Example: Gross income: 1000 Taxes: -300 Net income: 700 Expenses: -500 Money left: 200 I would like to see that I spent 500 out of 700 that is 71% of my net income. But if taxes and normal expenses are treated equally than it will be 800 out of 1000 which is 80% of gross income. Also I'm not sure how can I configure the report to show the percentage. I could use subcategories for income and taxes e.g. Business > Income and Business > Taxes which would show me amount of +700 for the entire Business category. However the problem is there seems to be no mode to make one row compute in relation to some other row. The modes "percent of columns" and "absolute percent of columns" compute each line in relation to a sum of all lines within a column. But to make it work I would need the line with expenses (-500) to be computed in relation to line with net income (+700). SUMMARY: I would like to see my expenses relative to my net income with percentage e.g. 500 / 700 * 100 = 71.42% -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
