            Bug ID: 369633
Summary: Allow to change UI colors, not just editor theme
           Product: kate
           Version: 16.08
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: application
          Assignee: kwrite-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: jbev_kdebugs...@refining-linux.org

Kate ships with a nice and nifty Breeze Dark theme nowadays, but it still
doesn't allow to change the UI color theme (like Krita does). I understand that
people want consistency and I could simply change my desktop theme, but I don't
want everything on my desktop to be dark. I generally prefer the normal bright
Breeze theme, but certain applications at which I look for hours and hours such
as code editors and IDEs have to be dark (and not only the editor component but
the full application).

It would be great if Kate allowed my to change the application theme together
with the editor theme.

Reproducible: Always
