The entry "Album" is the absolute "root" entry, below you will find your
created collections. The behavior is intentional, you can't create an "album"
here because there isn't a target directory either. To create a new
"Album/Collection" you have to add one in the digiKam setup under Collections.
Please read our documentation first so that you understand the digiKam
collections concept.
