I think it's not the centering, it's the overdrawing, or lack thereof: In
Oxygen, the text sits entirely above the progress bar. Therefore, the old text
is probably completely erased by the new progress bar overdrawing it, then the
new text is rendered above the progress bar. In Breeze, the text sits next to
the progress bar, and is "transparent", which means the old text would have to
be explicitly erased somehow somewhere to fix this.
