STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. use Plasma on a laptop
2. try to adjust the display brightness via Battery applet in the system tray
3.
OBSERVED RESULT
no effect when we change the "Display brightness" slider. The display
brightness changes as expected if we use the special keyboard keys instead.
EXPECTED RESULT
we can adjust the display brightness via Battery applet
