In fact we actually already have this in the form of a System Tray icon called
"Keyboard Status". it appears when the caps lock is active, and disappears when
it's not. If we did this as an OSD, I think it would be *really* annoying and
we'd get tons of complaints and bug reports about it, so for the moment let's
stick to what we've already got.
