Bug ID: 470095 Summary: Popup notifications for low battery life do not go away automatically after 5 seconds, despite this being specified in settings Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: 5.24.7 Platform: Kubuntu OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: Notifications Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: canaryinades...@gmail.com CC: k...@privat.broulik.de Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** When my laptop reaches 10% of its full battery, it shows a popup. However, this popup does not go away after 5 seconds despite this being set in notification settings. I have to either manually click the x in the popup, or plug in my laptop. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Reach a battery life of 10%. 2. Have notifications on, with a life of 5 seconds. 3. See that the popup for low battery does not go away on its own. OBSERVED RESULT The popup warning of a low battery level does not go away, and must be manually clicked. EXPECTED RESULT I expect low battery popups to go away by themselves like other notifications. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.7 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This same bug happens no matter what plasma style I use. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
