Akonadi is looking at the wrong active connection. So it will always try to come online and always fail. Why has no developer even look at this? If your search the forum you can find a dozen open bug reports describing this bug going back 11 years. Its a pretty critical bug, negatively affects many users and has 140 votes. Now the problem has been now well defined for months. Are there no Kontact developers working on this project?
