This is on Kubuntu. An Arch user with latest KDE reported no problem
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Attempt to create user
2. Logout of current user and login
3. New user's symbol is "grayed out"
OBSERVED RESULT
Does not log in.
EXPECTED RESULT
Linux/KDE Plasma:
